Information we collect and its usage

You can generally visit the site without revealing any personally identifiable information about yourself. We do not collect personal information from our site visitors without the site visitor providing us with this information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

If you request to receive company or product information or request an online demonstration of the services, the following information has to be shared- name, title, email address, company name, state or province, country and phone number. We use this information to deliver the requested information and/or provide you with the online/offline demonstration of the services.

In order to become a registered user of the services, EdGE Networks requires you to create a user account. To register for a user account, you must provide the following personally identifiable information:

  • If you are an employer, you must provide your company’s name and e-mail address of a contact
    at your company.
  • If you are an employee of an employer, you must provide your name, e-mail address, country
    and zip code.

Providing any additional information beyond what is required at registration is optional

Aggregate Information

EdGE Networks may also automatically collect and analyze information about your general usage of the site and services. When you perform certain actions using the services, EdGE Networks may track your usage patterns to see what features of the site and services you commonly use, site traffic volume, frequency of visits, type and time of transactions, type of browser, browser language, IP address and operating system, and statistical information about types of jobs offered and required resumes. EdGE Networks will collect, track and analyze such information in an aggregated manner that does not personally identify you. This aggregate data may be used by EdGE Networks in operating the site and the services and provided to other third parties to enable them to better understand the operation of EdGE Networks’ business, but such information will be in aggregate form only and it will not contain personally identifiable data. EdGE Networks may also gather information about you (that you voluntarily submit) when you login to the services and/or provide feedback to EdGE Networks.

EdGE Networks recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. This site is not intended for children and we endeavor not to collect any personally identifiable information from children. EdGE Networks targets its services and this site to adults and not to children.

Information related to Data collected through EdGE Network services

Once an employer registers to the platform, the business team of EdGE Networks will communicate for confirmation and pricing. After such confirmation, the data hence collected is only available to the employer. The employer now can create users with various access rights for project/resource managers, leads, recruiters etc. We collect the content and other information you provide when you use our Services, including but not limited to, sign up for an account, sign in, create or edit positions, download or upload candidate profiles. This can include information in or about the content you provide, such as data files uploaded. We also collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of content you view or engage with or the frequency and duration of your activities.

Based on a created project/position by a respective manager/team lead, information will be collected from external job sites and internally uploaded profiles, and this information will be shared with a respective project manager or resource manager. This information will be stored internally for recruitment data analysis.

For the open positions, either the internally uploaded profiles can be analysed or sourcing activity can be carried out using external job sites for downloading matching profiles. Such profiles are now scored and shown in ranked fashion. Based on the score, each profile can be shortlisted and proposed and the status of each can be updated. The employers themselves authorize external job sites and data collected from such sites is only available to that employer network and cannot be shared/used outside of the network. Again the anonymity of the employees/external job seekers is maintained.

We collect information from or about the computers, phones, or other devices where you install or access our Services, depending on the permissions you’ve granted. We may associate the information we collect from your different devices, which helps us provide consistent Services across your devices. Here are some examples of the device information we collect:

  • Attributes such as the operating system, hardware version, device settings, file and software names and types, battery and signal strength, and device identifiers.
  • Device locations, including specific geographic locations, such as through GPS, Bluetooth, or WiFi signals.
  • Connection information such as the name of your mobile operator or ISP, browser type, language and time zone, mobile phone number and IP address.

On employer guidance, employees also can register and authorize themselves. EdGE Networks collects information under the direction of its customers and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. The resume that an employee uploads will be provided only to the specific potential employers and won’t be shared with third parties.

The recruitment team does not receive any right to use the profile information beyond what is necessary. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, EdGE Networks will not disclose personal information to third parties, including, but not limited to, companies affiliated with EdGE Networks. We receive information about you and your activities on and off HIREalchemy platform from third-party partners, such as information from a partner when we jointly offer services. Any matters relating to data privacy under GDPR terms and rights can be addressed on  Also, EdGE does not use the data collected and stored for any other purpose than what is stated in terms. At the same time EdGE implements reasonable safeguards for data privacy including but not limited to data isolation, minimization, anonymization and adhering to least privilege principle wherever applicable.

Choice and access to data controlled by our customers

EdGE Networks has no direct relationship with the individual employees whose personal data it processes on behalf of its customers. The individual can access their account and search for the required profiles. All the data will be stored in the system and in accordance with applicable Indian law, EdGE Networks retains an archive copy of the individual’s data for the period prescribed by such law.

Information Disclosure for Legal and other Exceptional reasons

We may also disclose your personally identifiable information: (a) if we are required to do so by law, regulation or other government authority or otherwise in cooperation with an investigation of a governmental authority, (b) to enforce the EdGE Networks Terms of Use or Master Subscription Agreement or (c) to protect our rights and the safety of users of our site and our services. In addition, we may transfer your personally identifiable information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which EdGE Networks participates or to a purchaser of all or substantially all of EdGE Network’s assets to which this site relates.
