How important it is for organizations to reinforce their branding on new hires?
While branding is imperative to attract new hires, it is also needed to be reinforced during the whole hiring process by creating an outstanding candidate and later a new hire experience. Even when a candidate is not hired he should walk away with a positive impression.
Does employer-branding help in employee retention?
It’d be different. Employee Experience is the ongoing interaction, which if it is positive in turn creates a great employer brand. Internal communication is the often-neglected aspect that tells an employee what is happening in other parts of the organization and what the organization is doing externally. This creates a unified messaging.
In today’s digital age, when most organizations’ have a digital presence, what would be your one advice to them for creating an impactful employer branding to attract talent?
They have to treat their employees as brand advocates enabling them to amplify the message. They should identify the employees with significant digital presence and educate them on how to amplify the message. And how to do it authentically. And also reward them for the same.
